Atlanta Gets Festive

Great news! If you’re planning on visiting the Atlanta area in August, there’s quite a line-up of festivals waiting for you.

On August 17th and 18th, head over to Piedmont Park for the Piedmont Park Arts Festival, presented by the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces. Named one of the top 100 arts festivals in the nation, The Piedmont Park Summer Arts Festival is a two-day outdoor event showcasing the visual arts for people of all ages, cultures, and interests. This event will feature work by painters, photographers, sculptors, leather and metalworkers, glass blowers, and jewelers alongside artist demonstrations, live acoustic music, an emerging artists pavilion, a children’s play area, and festival foods and beverages. Next up, is the Wine & Spirits Festival on August 24th, also taking place at Piedmont Park. General admission is $49 per person, which lets patrons taste wine, beer, and spirits from all over the world! Proceeds from the event will benefit the Piedmont Conservancy. And last, but certainly not least, is the 17th annual Grant Park Summer Shade Festival taking place August 24th and 25th. Join fellow art and music lovers at Grant Park to bid summer one final adieu with two days of outdoor fun, including a 5K Run for the Park, food trucks, craft beer, Kids Zone, and artist line-up sure to be music to everyone’s ears.
