A Summer of Arts in WilmingtonPosted on July 12, 2019 in Events
Summer has long been one of our favorite seasons to gather friends and family together and go exploring. That’s why we want to share some very exciting events going on in one of our very favorite cities in the South: Wilmington, North Carolina.
First, we’ve got Boogie in the Park, a free concert series held at Ocean Front Park in Wilmington on the first and third Sundays of each month from now through October. This year’s lineup includes a variety of acts and genres sure to please every musical palate. Visit the Boogie in the Park site here for updated artist and concert information.
Next up is the Lumina Festival of the Arts, a 16-day event dedicated to dance, film, opera, theatre, performance poetry, and visual arts. Hosted by the University of North Carolina Wilmington at the Kenan Auditorium from July 12-28, this year’s festival celebrates the arts in the Coastal South with a brilliant variety of artists and performers. Visit the UNCW website here for more information!
