Valued guests, employees, and shareholders of Sotherly Hotels,
In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, we would like to provide you with an update on the additional health and safety measures our management partners, with our guidance, have put in place across our portfolio. Such measures include but are not limited to the following:
- Carefully monitoring the situation and following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO) and other health authorities
- Implementing additional measures to clean and disinfect our hotels in alignment with recommendations from proper authorities
- Expanding cancellation policies for all guests with pre-paid reservations and encouraging guests who have booked through a third-party to contact that party directly
- Encouraging our employees and guests to follow designated sanitation and hygiene best practices like frequent hand washing and staying home if they are feeling ill
