Port South Chef Makes Splash At Gridiron Grill-Off
Posted on November 16, 2018 in Local EatsWe’ve always said our chefs know good food – and now here’s even more proof.
We’re proud to announce that Chef Kati Marosites from Port South Bar & Grill at the DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Hollywood Beach placed 5th out of 32 restaurants and bars in the area’s annual Gridiron Grill-Off competition.
Each year, the Gridiron Grill-Off pairs chefs from South Florida’s best restaurants with NFL legends to create unique grilled dishes. This year, Chef Kati and NFL partner Ed Newman served up a delicious Wagyu short rib slider that they topped with a fried green tomato, beer battered mushrooms, peppered bacon, arugula, white aged cheddar, and a sriracha chimichurri aioli and served alongside duck fat and parmesan truffle fries.
Congratulations to Chef Kati on a job well done!
