The DeSoto Hosts 201st Annual Christmas Cotillion
Posted on January 9, 2019 in EventsOn December 21st, The DeSoto proudly hosted the Cotillion Club’s 201st annual Christmas Cotillion for the first time in a number of years.
The Cotillion Club, one of the oldest in the United States, presented eight debutantes during the holiday event held in the Oglethorpe Ballroom. The yearly introduction of debutantes is a time-honored Southern tradition, one that fits perfectly with the historic charm and deep Savannah roots of The DeSoto.
On behalf of The DeSoto and Sotherly Hotels, our warmest thanks to the Cotillion Club for choosing The DeSoto as the backdrop for this year’s cotillion event. We were honored to serve as your host once more and hope to do so for many years to come!
